Nintendo confirms that the new OLED Switch does not have CPU or RAM upgrades

In a new statement to The Verge, Nintendo outright confirms that the new OLED Switch does not have CPU, RAM or GPU upgrades. The OLED Switch’s specs are intact from the base Switch and revised Switch model from 2019. Here’s what Nintendo had to say via a spokesperson:

“Nintendo Switch (OLED model) does not have a new CPU, or more RAM, from previous Nintendo Switch models.”

The OLED Switch provides features previously reported by our rumor a few months ago. This includes an included LAN port, larger OLED screen and improved kickstand. Lastly, the new OLED Switch releases on October 8th. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
