Starting today, Fortnite players on Switch will have an enhanced experience going forward! Epic Games announced today that a performance boost update is going live for the game. This performance boost update vastly improves the resolution and frame rate of the game. The frame rate should be very consistent now and a dynamic resolution scaler is in place to keep the action running smooth. The resolution for docked is now close to 900p and handheld is close to 720p. Rendering of textures should be sped up as well since the renderer is upgraded to use more of the Switch’s GPU.
