In a new interview via Famitsu, Team Ninja’s Fumihiko Yasuda shared thoughts about the upcoming Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection. Yasuda explains that Sigma versions were chosen for the collection due to Ninja Gaiden 2 and Black data was not salvageable. Some adjustments were made for the remaster like difficulty in tag missions so that solo players may complete them. Jiggle physics based around the PS3 gyro sensor in the DualShock 3 are not present in the remasters. On a final note, Yasuda states that he wants to create a sequel to Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge. We hope this sequel finally comes as fans have been wanting a brand new Ninja Gaiden game for many years.
Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection releases on June 10th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Steam. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and support us over on Patreon!
