Today marks 4 years since the Switch first released

Its been 4 years already since the Switch first released to the market starting with Japan. In that time, Switch became a record setter with games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe each selling over 30 million copies. The console also surpassed 80 million units sold by the time of the 4th anniversary. Nintendo CEO Shuntaro Furukawa states that Switch is in the middle of its life-cycle so we could expect 4 more years of games to come! With the success of the Switch, players will see even more games come to the platform.

The Switch’s upcoming games include No More Heroes III, Project Triangle Strategy, Mario Golf: Super Rush, Bayonetta 3 and much more. In the same month of the Switch’s 4th anniversary, players will soon try out the latest game in the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter Rise. Big plans are ahead for the console and we can’t wait to cover these stories and announcements as they happen.
