Square Enix revealed new details for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade via Famitsu today! This includes the new version’s story episode featuring Yuffie, content and modes.

In quality mode, the game targets 4K resolution for stunning visuals on PS5. Overall, the game featuring new improvements like better lighting, textures, fog effects and more! Additionally, a photo mode is added to capture those stunning moments as they happen.

Players who currently own the PS4 version may upgrade to the PS5 version at no additional cost in the west (100 yen fee in Japan). The Intergrade content featuring Yuffie’s story episode is available as a separate purchase for those who upgrade. Yuffie’s story episode is two chapters long and sees her as the main character. Yuffie is good at close range and long range attack with her deadly shuriken and ninjutsu. She teams up with Sonon Kusakabe who studied under Godo Kisaragi, Yuffie’s father. Sonon specializes in bojutsu and kenpo. In the new story, both are after the “ultimate materia”.
