E3 2021 live event is cancelled due to coronavirus, ESA goes ahead with digital event plans

In a recent report out of Los Angeles, the Convention and Tourism Development Commission says E3 2021 is a “cancelled live event”. Additionally, the board claims that they’re working on a 2022 and 2023 license for E3 to take place in the city. As previously reported, the ESA is going forward with plans for a digital event for E3 2021 this summer.

According to VGC, the ESA will have E3 digital events from June 15th to June 17th this year but needs more backing from major game companies.
