Jim Ryan describes the new, currently unnamed headset as “capturing the technological process that has taken place since the present VR system came to market, and a considerable amount of lessons learned.” He goes on to mention that the new headset will feature a very simple set-up utilizing only one cord to connect. Dev kits are also about to go out. It also seems that Jim Ryan is “extremely happy with the results of the present PlayStation VR.” He hopes that business with the PS5’s own VR headset will be successful.
