Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII and VIII Remastered Twin Pack for Switch and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for PS4 physical editions release on December 4th in EU! This gives us hope that Square Enix could finally release this in NA since FF VII and VIII Remastered are digital only. Preorder links are available below from the Square Enix EU Online Store:
