Rumor: Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Remaster Collection has been delayed to early 2021 due to development issues with Mass Effect 1’s remaster

The long rumored Mass Effect Remastered Collection was apparently planned to release in October this year. We now have a name for the collection, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. However, the good news ends here. VentureBeat is reporting that EA has delayed the game due to development issues around Mass Effect 1’s remaster. VentureBeat cites “people familiar with development” at EA are relaying this information anonymously. Mass Effect 1’s remaster is not living up to the quality of the rest of the games. Because of this, the development team had to delay the entire collection to fix issues coming down to visuals and gameplay. Additionally, multiplayer mode is not coming back with any of the games in this remastered collection but all DLC will be included.

Please take this rumor with a grain of salt though as EA has yet to announce the collection. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
