September 1st is set to be a big day for Nvidia and their cards are about to be big in power consumption too. Seasonic has confirmed the use of Nvidia-certified 12-pin connectors for upcoming RTX 3000 cards. This means that these cards will need to connect to two 8-pin PCIe GPU slots on a power supply. These next-gen Nvidia cards will be beefy, requiring the use of rated 850 watt power supplies at minimum. Hopefully, prices for such power supplies go down in time. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
