Compile Heart details MV Battles and more guest V-Tubers in VVVtunia

Compile Heart has updated the official VVVtunia website once again! This time, MV Battles and more guest V-Tubers are detailed for the game. Thanks to Gematsu, all the new information is available below:

MV Battles

V-Idols may appear as heroines and utilize a boss battle system known as MV Battles. In addition, V-Idols’ dedicated songs are played in the background during these MV Battles.

Sound Gauge and Resonance Mode

Sound Status is displayed in the bottom left part of the UI along with the Seek Bar. This is linked to the music playing in the MV Battle. Depending on the color of the playback position, various effects may be activated:

• Red: Activates Benefits for Enemies
• Blue: Activates Benefits for the Player
• Yellow: Activates Player Status Increase Effect

Sound Gauge

The Sound Gauge builds up as the player attacks enemies and defeats Sound Prisms.

Resonance Mode

Once the Sound Gauge is maxed out, Resonance Mode may be activated to give the player a boost in their abilities.

Finish Drive

By meeting conditions in Resonance Mode, Finish Drive may be activated. This is a powerful attack between characters with a cutscene.
