After many months of speculation and rumors. Horizon Zero Dawn will stop being a PlayStation 4 exclusive and release for PC later this year. According to sources obtained by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier.
According to Schreier, the news is “unprecedented.” His sources were “from three people familiar with Sony’s plans, all speaking anonymously because they were not authorized to talk to press.”
Horizon Zero Dawn, developed by Guerrilla Games. And released back in February 2017 for the PlayStation 4. It released to commercial and critical acclaim. It ended up winning many awards from the gaming press.
Horizon Zero Dawn will be the first former PlayStation exclusive to release for PC. Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding is also slated to stop being a PlayStation exclusive. Death Stranding expects to release on PC later this year as well.
Death Stranding, and now Horizon Zero Dawn. Become yet another Sony exclusive to go multiplatform. MLB The Show will release for multiple platforms starting in 2021.
