A new Nintendo patent released yesterday, features a Joy-Con with a bending and hinged design

Nintendo experiments with the technology surrounding their latest consoles. It seems that another one of their experiments have reached the patent form. Yesterday, Twitter user @StomachCramp found new patents containing a new Joy-Con design. In the patent, the Joy-Cons were able to bend along a hinged component. The use of the Joy-Con is illustrated in the patent:

 

As of now, Nintendo is sticking to the standard Joy-Con design. This patent is also available to view at IPForce.JP, an official publication for Japanese patents. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for more news regarding the Nintendo Switch!
