Spike Chunsoft has announced today that physical copies for AI: The Somnium Files are getting delayed to September 24th. As of now, this delay is in effect for North America only. It will still release digitally on Steam, PS4 and Switch on September 17th as expected. This delay was caused by increased demand and manufacturing delays. Although the physical release is delay, increased demand for the game is a good sign. Here’s the official statement from Spike Chunsoft:
Due to increased demand and manufacturing delays, we regret to inform the community that NA physical releases of AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES will not be available for retail until Sept 24. This also includes the Special Agent Editions.
