Officially licensed Overwatch themed Switch case appears on Amazon

Overwatch 2

Blizzard has supported the Switch with Diablo 3: Eternal Collection and has named it a success. Plans for more games coming to the platform have been considered, and it seems that one game in particular could be heading to Switch soon. An officially licensed Overwatch Switch case by PowerA has appeared on Amazon. PowerA is a licensed manufacturer that makes 3rd party controllers and accessories for Nintendo. Speculation points toward this being a slip up by PowerA in Amazon’s system. The Amazon listing has since been taken down (Thanks, Wario64)

Stay tuned at Final Weapon for more news regarding Nintendo and Blizzard titles! We will update you all on this once more information is provided.

Modders are remastering Red Dead Redemption for PC

Red Dead Redemption has never officially been released to the PC, but that hasn’t stopped skilled modders. Through the Xenia and RPCS3 emulators, modders are developing Red Dead Redemption: Damned Enhancement Edition for PC.

This remaster aims to improve the game on many different fronts, focusing on making the game run and look better on PC. As for changes to do such, higher quality textures and UI/HUD improvements are the most developed to do so. That’s not all the team has in store though, as shader, model, and draw optimizations are in development. If you’d like a closer look at exactly what they’ve improved so far, you can find plenty of screenshots on the mod’s official forum page.

With the game already looking that stunning, people have a lot to be excited for from it. Due to optimizations from both emulators, you won’t be able to play for a while though. Still, it will be worth keeping up with the work from the team regardless.

Red Dead Redemption is an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games, known for both Red Dead and Grand Theft Auto. You play John Marston, a reformed criminal, forced to turn in his former accomplices if he’s to gain freedom. The game is available for PS3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version being available through the Xenia or RPCS3 emulators.

SEGA Producer Daisuke Sato: Judgment exceeded sales expectations in the West, interested in making sequels in the future

SEGA

Sega Producer Daisuke Sato sat down with Spanish gaming news outlet MeriStation at Gamescom 2019. In the interview, Sato stated that Judgment exceeded sales expectations in the west. However, SEGA has nothing to announce yet. Sato also states that the team is interested in making sequels in the future. Here’s the excerpt from MeriStation:

“From our point of view, Judgment has exceeded the sales expectations we had in the West ; they are being very good, ”commented Sato. Given this circumstance and the insistence on the part of the developer, Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, for innovating with fresh bets, we asked him if the continuity of the franchise was in his plans.

“We, as a team, would like to continue working on future installments of the Judgment series,” he added.

Currently, Sega is working on a new Yakuza game starring Ichiban Kasuga. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for more news regarding Sega and Ryu ga Gotoku studio titles!
