Kazutaka Kodaka states that an announcement for one of Too Kyo Games’ upcoming projects will arrive on March 13th

Famed Danganronpa and Too Kyo Games director Kazutaka Kodaka says that an announcement for one of the company’s initially teased projects will arrive on March 13th! The project is one of the four unveiled alongside the company which includes:

  • Death March Club
  • A dark-fantasy game by Kodaka and Spike Chunsoft
  • “Limit x Despair” by Kodaka and Uchikoshi
  • An anime project

MiHoYo has announced that their closed beta test for Genshin Impact begins on March 19th for PC, iOS and Android! Players will have the opportunity to test out this open world fantasy RPG soon. A preview trailer was also released, showing what players may expect soon. Check it out below:

Compile Heart details Emotional Overdrive and Special Slots in VVVtunia

Compile Heart’s VVVtunia website has been updated with some new information! Check out the new details below, courtesy of Gematsu:

Emotional Overdrive

Defeating enemies and building up a gauge in battle will allow players to activate Emotional Overdrive. Its a timed special attack that allows players to attack all enemies at once. Characters that activate Emotional Overdrive also put on an adorable performance. The example below is Duet Skill:

Special Slots

After using Emotional Overdrive, Special Slots will be activated. Depending on the slots, players may obtain items, equipment and more.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump has revealed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan, an action game for PS4! The game follows the story of the manga with Tanjiro as the protagonist. More details will arrive at a later date.

A new game in The Witcher series will begin development after Cyberpunk 2077

CD Project Red CEO Adam Kicinski has confirmed that work on a new game in The Witcher series will begin after Cyberpunk 2077! However, this game will not be called The Witcher 4. The developers want to work in both the worlds of Cyberpunk and The Witcher, and will begin work on their next game immediately after Cyberpunk 2077 is out.

Nintendo to “support the decision to cancel E3 2020,” keeps quiet on future plans

Nintendo has released a statement today saying that they are supporting the decision to cancel E3 2020. They join Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Devolver Digital in supporting this cancelation. Here is Nintendo’s official statement on ESA’s decision.

“Nintendo supports the ESA’s decision to cancel this year’s E3 to help protect the health and safety of everyone in our industry — our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our longtime E3 partners.”

While the other companies have outlined their plans, Nintendo seems to be quiet in this case. Hopefully we learn something of their plans soon. For many years now they have had a Direct Showcase and 3 days of Nintendo Treehouse live streams showing off games.
