Oninaki is set to release on August 22nd for PS4, PC and Switch but Square Enix is gearing up toward that date. We revealed earlier today that the PS4/PC demo was rated in Taiwan. The demo has now surfaced on Switch eShops in EU and Australia. It takes up 1.4 GB of storage space while the full game is 2.7 GB.
There’s currently a 10% pre-load discount on Oninaki in the EU and Australia eShops. We expect the demo and pre-load option to be up on the US eShop when it updates tomorrow. Marvelous will be hosting their 4th livestream discussing Rune Factory 4 Special on July 25th. Additionally, new information about Rune Factory 5 will be shared in the stream. Sega has filed a trademark for “Nights Dream Wheel” in Japan, possibly relating to the classic NiGHTS series. The first game in the NiGHTS series launched on the Sega Saturn in 1996. It was later remastered for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2012. It’s been a while since the last entry in the series titled NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams on the Wii, released back in 2007.
Currently, development of a brand new entry in the series is not known at this time. Sega has stated several times that they are in the process of reviving past IPs. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD and the new Panzer Dragoon remakes are examples of this. Maybe NiGHTS will return in some form. We will update you on any further updates and announcements from Sega at Final Weapon!
EVO 2019 is approaching very soon and some big news just dropped via the official EVO twitter account. PlayStation will be a partner for EVO 2019, presenting 8 of the 9 main event games at the event. This is very interesting news considering Sony has not been present at E3 this year and didn’t have a PlayStation Experience conference in 2018. Furthermore, EVO stated that PlayStation will have news of some sort at the event.

Rockstar has revealed The Diamond Program for GTA Online, which will be apart of The Diamond Casino & Resort update. Special rewards will come from different tiers of the membership. The update launches tomorrow, July 23rd. You can see the brand new info below.
On July 23rd, The Diamond Casino & Resort will open its doors and become the premiere destination for entertainment and luxury living in Los Santos. To celebrate the grand opening, The Diamond Program will take VIP Membership status to a new level of self-importance with an assortment of perks and rewards. The velvet rope lifts starting July 23rd, participate in the action before August 7th to take advantage of everything The Diamond Program has to offer.
Acquiring a Master Penthouse (or redeeming for free with Twitch Prime) grants Silver Status. In addition to the VIP Membership that comes standard with the Penthouse, Silver Status members will receive the exclusive “She’s Loaded” Wall Art, a modern piece to hang on the wall of your choice using the Penthouse’s Decorations Management feature. Silver Status members will also get casino themed the Diamond Classic Tee.
Silver Status members who help Tao Cheng protect The Diamond from a corrupt family of Texan magnates can complete the second co-operative mission, “House Keeping”, to be upgraded to Gold Status, which unlocks an exclusive livery for the new Truffade Thrax plus a Truffade Tee to match.
Platinum Status membership is a title that’s earned through dirty work. Platinum members who host the missions will receive an exclusive livery for a highly coveted brand-new vehicle. Platinum members who participate in a host’s missions will receive an exclusive livery for the new Annis S80RR supercar. Work together to host and participate in the complete mission strand to unlock both.
All of the Diamond Program rewards detailed above will be granted between August 8th – 13th.
And don’t forget, you can get the Master Penthouse with Social Club x Twitch Prime Benefits and hit Silver Status in The Diamond Program. There are two ways for players that link their accounts and claim their benefits to get free access.
If you have completed your sign up and the Master Penthouse isn’t showing as free, you can purchase the Master Penthouse and you’ll receive a rebate for the price of the base Master Penthouse within 48 hours. Otherwise, the price should list as ‘free’ for all active Twitch Prime members in good standing as of July 28th on August 1st, so long as you remain an active Prime member.

Nintendo UK announced just a few hours ago that Daemon X Machina digital pre-orders are now available on the EU eShop. The download size is only 5.8GB. They also announced that digital buyers will get pre-order bonuses at launch. NOA has yet to announce what they’re planning. Daemon X Machina will be out worldwide on September 13.
People interested in Oninaki might not have to wait much longer to finally try out the game! According to Gematsu, a demo for Oninaki has been rated for PS4 and PC. A Switch version has not been rated yet, but we will most likely see a Switch demo surface as well.

It looks like a new Plants vs. Zombies shooter is being developed. EA recently sent out invites to numerous different people asking them to participate in a closed alpha. This closed alpha will reportedly be for Xbox and PlayStation users only, with no sign of PC. This doesn’t rule out a PC release though, as it could only be ready for the two platforms.

You are invited to participate in the new PvZ shooter (codename Picnic) playtest on Xbox One or PS4. Made by the team that created PvZ Garden Warfare, the Picnic Closed Alpha will give players a first glimpse into the new game, you don’t want to miss out”
What will codename Picnic be you might ask? Outside of being a shooter, we aren’t entirely sure. The email doesn’t give much information, and the playtest will entirely be under NDA. You can likely expect it will be similar to Garden Warfare though, possibly fixing some of the issues of that series. As well, you can likely expect it to be filled with microtransactions knowing EA.
If you’re looking for a PvZ fix before this game comes out, you likely won’t have to wait long. EA recently announced that a third main Plants vs. Zombies game is in development.
The game is in pre-alpha, and is looking for players to help test on the Google Play Store.
