There is no major change to the memory situation, according to President Furukawa.

Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has revealed that the company is not considering any further price changes for the Nintendo Switch 2. He has also confirmed that while the memory shortage situation has not improved, Nintendo “is in a position to secure sufficient quantities.”

Earlier, the Nintendo Switch 2 price raised from $449.99 to $499.99, due to the shortage of memory components. Despite the increasing prices of other gaming-related products, Nintendo is confident that it will not raise the price of its recent console any further. The announcement comes just in time for the release of Nintendo’s biggest game this year, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The game is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 digitally for $59.99 and physically for $69.99. Further, there will be new Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo that will introduce two new masks for Link. The full English voice cast for the game is as follows:

  • Lisa Reimold as Navi
  • Erica Mendez as Zelda/Sheik
  • Matt Mercer as Ganondorf
  • Richard Epcar as Great Deku Tree
  • Suzie Yeung as Saria
  • Frank Todaro as Kaepora/Rauru
  • Laura Post as Impa
  • Josh Petersdorf as Darunia
  • Anne Yatco as Ruto
  • Deva Marie Gregory as Deku Tree Sprout
  • Cristina Vee as Nabooru
  • Reba Buhr as Kotake/Koume
  • Voice Support: Daniel Bushey, Rachel Seeley, Danny Hunt, Haley Hanna Hunt

Recently, a new “Ask the Developers” article from Nintendo has revealed that Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 3 is developing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The team has worked on all of the major 3D Zelda games, which likely means that the next mainline entry in the series will not release for quite a while. Monolith Soft also recently confirmed its contributions to its development.
