Hello Kitty Island Adventure Update 3.0 ‘Welcome Home’ is Now Available on All Platforms

Sanrio and Sunblink have released Update 3.0 “Welcome Home” for all versions of cozy life sim game Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Hello Kitty Island Adventure Update 3.0 brings several new features, including player homes on Home Island, buildable cabins for Sanrio Friends, sharable cabin layouts and contents, new floorplans, mailboxes with redeemable lost items and auto-gifting, and the arrival of Marroncream. 

Update 3.0 also arrives alongside the annual fall event “Days of Plenty.” This year, players can help My Melody, My Sweet Piano, and Lala with their DIY crafts to earn new outfits with cozy knitted designs, sewing and crafting-themed furniture and decor, and returning fall-themed rewards from past events.

To celebrate the “Welcome Home” update, Sunblink and Sanrio have introduced the Friend Pass for PC via Steam. Starting today, PC players who own Hello Kitty Island Adventure can invite friends to try the game through Friend Pass, which enables co-op play with a portion of the game’s early content.

In addition, the Nintendo Switch 2 Friendship Bundle for Hello Kitty Island Adventure will release on October 15 for $59.99 in North America, Europe and Australia, followed by Asia and Japan on November 20. Pre-orders are available now at retailers like Amazon, Target, Best Buy and Wal-Mart.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available for Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Switch users can upgrade to the Switch 2 version with an “Upgrade Pack” for $9.99. The Hello Kitty Island Adventure Tea Garden DLC is also available now for $9.99 on all platforms, with the DLC contents also being integrated into the Apple Arcade version.
