During Tokyo Game Show 2026, I had the chance to attend a behind-closed-doors session covering Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina with Director Kamone Serizawa. After the presentation, a Q&A session opened, and Serizawa-san was asked a question by James Galizio of RPG Site about a potential Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- PC port.
As of now, the 2021 visual novel is only available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It was brought over to the West in English by Aniplex of America in 2024, and there was even a mention of a PC port in the Type-Moon Ace Volume 15 magazine. However, nothing has been announced since, despite all other modern Type-Moon visual novel releases (Witch on the Holy Night, Fate/stay night Remastered, and Fate/hollow ataraxia Remastered) all receiving PC ports via Steam.
While Serizawa-san acknowledged that a PC port was out of his control, as he does not work for Type-Moon or Aniplex, he shared that he personally thinks it is “very important” and would like to see it happen, especially given the popularity of Melty Blood on PC. No Aniplex staff in the room commented on the matter, but it’s safe to say that, like many, Kamone Serizawa would also like to see Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- come to PC.
Melty Blood: Twi-Lumina launches on April 22, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Stay tuned for our hands-on impressions from TGS in the coming days.
