NACON has announced that Midgar Studio-developed RPG Edge of Memories will launch on November 5 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for Edge of Memories are now open for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
An Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition will be available with 48 hours of early access starting November 3, a Nekaroo costume pack, a French History costume pack, a digital artbook, and the game’s soundtrack. Pre-orders for the physical edition of Edge of Memories will also include a metallic SteelBook case as well.
As previously announced, the story of Edge of Memories was written in collaboration with NieR writer Sawako Natori. The soundtrack of Edge of Memories is composed by Cédric Menendez, with a final theme by Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenoblade Chronicles series) and vocals by Emi Evans (NieR series). Vocalist Marion Schneider (Edge of Eternity / Temtem), composer Mariam Abounnasr (Xenoblade Chronicles 3 / ONINAKI) and character designer Raita Kazama (Xenoblade Chronicles X) also contributed to the project.
Edge of Memories developer Midgar Studio was shut down after failing to secure a buyer, but all of the creative work on the game is already complete. A dedicated team is handling the technical aspects to ensure that the console and PC versions are ready.
