Famitsu has announced that the October 1 and October 8, 2026 combined issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Persona series. Releasing on September 17, the new issue of Weekly Famitsu will feature a 42-page feature for the Persona 30th anniversary with series retrospectives, fan survey results, celebratory comments from notable figures, creator roundtable discussions, and more. The issue’s cover illustration was illustrated by Persona character designer Shigenori Soejima.
Persona 4 Revival launches first on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch on May 20, 2027. What’s more, new and exclusive Persona 4 Revival merchandise bundles are now available for pre-order at Shop ATLUS.
The battle theme of Persona 4 Revival, “Prime Time Golden Hour Show” by Shiori Sasaki, is now available on various streaming services, including Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music. In addition, the official lyric video for Prime Time Golden Hour Show is now available on YouTube.
A story-focused trailer for Persona 4 Revival was revealed during the recent Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast. P-STUDIO director Kazuhisa Wada also hosted a trailer breakdown with new insights about the game’s story, reiterating that the game is being developed for both new and returning players in mind. What’s more, new art and screenshots for Persona 4 Revival characters Naoto Shirogane, Kanji Tatsumi, and Teddie were released.
Persona 6 is in development for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. ATLUS describes Persona 6 as “The highly anticipated next chapter of the iconic RPG series delivers a bold, new standalone story blending heartfelt daily life and new characters with pulse-pounding, supernatural adventure.
