During the August 26 Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast, SEGA and ATLUS released a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival that delves deeper in the remake’s main story. Just like the original game and Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Revival takes players to Inaba, where they will uncover a case of serial murders linked to a mysterious “Midnight Channel.”
The previous Persona 4 Revival Broadcast highlighted the remake’s story, characters, battle system, and improvements with a trailer and additional gameplay. Persona 4 Revival recreates the legendary Persona 4 Golden in a comprehensive remake featuring new fully voiced events and dialogue, a newly recorded and arranged soundtrack, and new features, such as the Prime Time gameplay mechanic. After the broadcast, it was confirmed that animation studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) will produce the in-game anime cutscenes in Persona 4 Revival.
Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. Persona 4 Revival will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Pre-orders for the Persona 4 Revival Collector’s Edition (console only) are available now at participating retailers.
Persona 6 was announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. ATLUS describes Persona 6 as “The highly anticipated next chapter of the iconic RPG series delivers a bold, new standalone story blending heartfelt daily life and new characters with pulse-pounding, supernatural adventure. Whether it’s your first Persona game or you’ve been here since the beginning, this one’s for you.“
