ATLUS is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Persona 5 with a new illustration by character designer Shigenori Soejima. The 10th anniversary illustration features Persona 5 series protagonist Ren Amamiya (Joker), front and center.
The Persona franchise will celebrate its 30th anniversary in a “Persona 30th Anniversary Special Live” broadcast hosted by Neki Matsuzawa on September 30. During the broadcast, various guests will look back at the series and celebrate with fans. These guests include Daisuke Namikawa (voice of Persona 4 protagonist), Jun Fukuyama (voice of Persona 5 Protagonist), Shiori Sasaki, Lyn, Azumi Takahashi, Lotus Juice, and WadaP.
The original Persona 5 released on September 15, 2026 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan, followed by the worldwide release on April 4, 2017. Persona 5 Royal, the most comprehensive version of Persona 5 with extended story content, is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Steam.
Over the past decade, Persona 5 would go on to receive various spin-offs, including Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5 Tactica. Final Weapon previously reviewed Persona 5 Tactica and gave it a 4/5 score, noting that the game “brings interesting new characters, addicting gameplay, and a story that delivers lighthearted and dark themes alike… Persona 5 Tactica brings an intriguing twist to the gameplay systems that fans come to know and love in a well-rounded RPG that respects the player’s time.”
