Nintendo has announced that a free update for Star Fox will launch on September 29 with 4-player split screen in Battle Mode and three new Battle Mode stages. In addition, Star Fox Adventures is coming to Nintendo GameCube – Classics for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members later today.
Star Fox is available now in the Nintendo eShop for $49.99 digitally and $59.99 physically at retail and My Nintendo. The Nintendo Switch 2 game includes branching missions and routes, vastly improved graphics, and several new features, including 4v4 online multiplayer, pilot/gunner co-op, mouse controls, and “Easy,” “Normal,” and “Expert” difficulty modes. The game also features a new Challenge Mode for improved replayability and experiences, and there’s also avatar settings, which are supported with a compatible USB camera for GameChat. While in GameChat, players can embody Star Fox characters in Battle Mode.
