Toei Animation and Shueisha have announced that the Dragon Ball Super: Beerus anime will premiere on October 11. A new “Super Surge” trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus was also revealed, confirming that the opening theme song “ONOGAMI” by MEGATERA・ZERO and the ending theme song “Kan Peki No Peki” by VK Blanka. In addition, a new key visual was unveiled.
Whats more, the Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Special Panel will be held at New York Comic Con 2026 in the Javits Center (North-Level 5: Empire Stage) on October 8 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET. The panel includes a world-premiere advance screening of the first episode, hosted by voice actors Monica Rial (Bulma), Jason Douglas (Beerus), and Ian Sinclair (Whis). Panel attendees will receive an exclusive fan chain, face towel, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World Energy Marker.
As previously announced, Dragon Ball Super Beerus is an enhanced version of the Dragon Ball Super anime with improved animation and sound, redrawn cuts, and a “reconstructed narrative.” The anime covers the events of the Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F films/arcs.
In addition, the Dragon Ball Super anime will continue in Dragon Ball Super The Galactic Patrol. Dragon Ball Super The Galactic Patrol will cover the events of the manga’s Moro arc, after much anticipation from fans.
Bandai Namco recently announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the long-awaited entry in the successful online action game series by developer Dimps, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2027.
