Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land Anime Announces Main Staff Members

The official Twitter account for Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s Comic PASH! magazine revealed the main staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of Marukawa’s Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land (Ikyō no Tsumenuri Minarai) manga.

Daiji Iwanaga, known for his work on The Klutzy Class Monitor and the Girl with the Short Skirt, is directing the anime at Zero-G. Tomoko Konparu is handling the series composition and is also penning the scripts alongside Michiko Yokote.

Marukawa launched the Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land manga in Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s Comic PASH! magazine in 2022. Shufu to Seikatsu Sha published the manga’s fifth compiled book volume on January 10, 2025. In addition, the manga’s sixth volume will release on Friday, October 3, in Japan.

Tokyopop licensed the manga series for release in English, with the first volume launching on April 7, 2026. What’s more, the manga will be available at Tokyopop Store, Penguin Random House, Barnes & Noble, and other major booksellers when the first volume launches.
