The official website for the Duel Masters LOST anime series has confirmed that the TV anime adaptation of Duel Masters LOST ~Danzai no Shōnen~ (Duel Masters LOST: The Sentencing Boy) manga will premiere on October 9. The Duel Masters LOST: The Sentencing Boy anime will feature four episodes, which premiere every other week on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. JST.
The anime will feature a returning cast, including Nina Tamaki as “Lost Kōzaki.” Riki Fukushima returns to direct the new anime at J.C. Staff and SMDE, with animation production supervision by Yūji Matsukura. Yōichi Katō returns to oversee the series scripts, Chikara Hashizume returns to design the characters, and Go Sakabe returns to compose the music.
Duel Masters is a multimedia project that initially started in 1999. The first anime series aired in 2002. Over the years, several new manga, anime, and merchandise have been released as part of the massive project. The first chapter of Duel Masters LOST, the latest subseries in the twenty-five-year-old franchise, released on February 1, 2024. Part 5 of the Duel Masters LOST manga series is in the works.
The manga series continued with Duel Masters LOST: Reaper of the Moon and its sequel, Duel Masters LOST: Oblivion Sun. The last episode of Duel Masters LOST: Reaper of the Moon aired on February 28, 2025, followed by Duel Masters LOST: Oblivion Sun ran from February 6 to February 27, 2026.
