To celebrate the game’s half-year anniversary, Netmarble has announced that a brand-new update for open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will introduce Ban, the final member of the Seven Deadly Sins, as a playable character. A new promotional video was also released to preview Ban as well.

With the arrival of Ban, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin players will be able to recruit and play as all seven members of the Seven Deadly Sins. The new update is currently planned to release at the end of August, and it will bring a number of improvements that address player feedback and some of the game’s highly requested changes.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Google Play Games. Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin executive producer Do-Hyung Koo to discuss the game’s development, the team’s initial goals, consultation with manga creator Nakaba Suzuki and more. We also had the chance to play an early build of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin to see what the original story and combat system offered.
