IzanagiGames and Nippon TV have announced that a free demo of story-driven live-action game AKIBA LOST is now available on PlayStation 5 in the PlayStation Store. In addition, digital pre-orders for AKIBA LOST are now open on PlayStation 5 with a 10% pre-order discount through September 15.
What’s more, the AKIBA LOST demo will come to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 26, with digital pre-orders opening that same day on those platforms. IzanagiGames also announced that Megami Tensei series composer Tsukasa Masuko contributed music and sound effects to the game, which players can hear in the demo.
The AKIBA LOST Original Soundtrack will also be released as DLC, featuring 31 in-game music tracks and 22 featured in the TV drama. It also comes with pixel-art alternate costumes for Shinjo, Wakana, Aoi, and Moe. The AKIBA LOST Drama Movie will also be released with all six episodes of the TV drama, allowing players to watch the series within the game. It also comes with alternate costumes for Shinjo, Kokone, Chihiro, and Yukimi.
The AKIBA LOST Digital Deluxe Edition was also revealed featured the full game, the original soundtrack, Drama movie, and both of the Pixel Character Costume Sets. The 10% discount also applies to the Digital Deluxe Edition.
AKIBA LOST launches on September 17 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the standard physical and digital editions of AKIBA LOST are now open in Japan. The Special Collection Box (¥19,580 JPY, tax included) includes a 200-page special photo art book, a bonus making-of DVD, an in-game digital item download code, digital soundtrack, and Shirosawa Games Sticker.

The live-action drama series for AKIBA LOST premiered on January 13. Hulu and TVer are streaming the series in Japan. There will be three songs featured in the AKIBA LOST TV series and game: “Answer Me” and “Shōtai Fumei no Lady (Unidentified Lady)”by Galali and “The weight of choice” by East of Eden.
