NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan has released a new promotional video for From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2, revealing two new cast members.

Akio Kazumi directs From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2 at Passione and Hayabusa Film. Kunihiko Okada is in charge of the series scripts. Moreover, Satsuki Hayasaka is the character designer and chief animation director. Yasaharu Takanashi is composing the anime’s music.
Unicorn performs the opening theme song “Kurenai no Ha (Crimson Leaf),” and BLUE ENCOUNT performs the ending theme song “Mikansei” (Unfinished).
From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2 is streaming on Amazon Prime Video worldwide. In Japan, the anime is airing on the “IMAnimation W” programming block on TV Asahi and affiliate channels.
Shigeru Sagazaki launched the From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman light novel series in November 2020 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Square Enix publishes the series with illustrations by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima.

Beryl Gardinant, a self-proclaimed “humble old man,” is a sword instructor at his dojo in a rural, backwater village.
