Twin Engine has announced a partnership with Bandai Co., Ltd., with the two planning to produce at least one new joint project together. The companies’ initiative will involve original manga, animated adaptation, and licensed merchandise and toys.
Twin Engine will handle the planning, production, advertising, and distribution for the animation portion of the cooperation. Bandai, on the other hand, will handle planning, product development, marketing, licensing, and maximizing the worth of the intellectual property as a whole. Twin Engine has primarily worked on projects such as Vinland Saga and Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. Recently, the 3rd Mononoke film, titled Gekijōban Mononoke Dai-San-Shō: Hebigami (or Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 3: Snake God) premiered in theaters on May 29, 2026.
