Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games have announced that Project N, its new Senran Kagura game for Android and iOS, will launch Shinobi NEXUS Senran Kagura in 2026 in Japan. Shinobi NEXUS Senran Kagura will also be available for PC via DMM Games, and pre-registration is now available in Japan.
As previously announced, the new game follows a story of five new shinobi girls set three years after the events of Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link. Gekkou and Senkou, who appeared at the end of the Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link, will appear in the new game. There will be new shinobis, a new school, and a mysterious new swordswoman named Benihime that takes center stage in the story. Character designs for the new game are handled by Nan Yaegashi.
Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link ended service on May 30, 2025, but an offline version was made available for Android and iOS. The offline version features the game’s story, costume customization, and diorama, allowing players to continue playing without needing to connect to servers.
The latest console game in the Senran Kagura series is Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars, a collaboration title developed by Compile Heart. Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars released first in October 2021 for PlayStation 4, followed by Nintendo Switch in April 2022 and PC (Steam) in May 2022. Final Weapon reviewed the PlayStation 4 version of Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars before launch and gave it a 3.5 out of 5 score.
