The staff of the upcoming Vertex Force anime has revealed that it will premiere on October 3 on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV, and will stream on U-NEXT. The main cast has also been revealed.
The cast includes:
- Makoto Koichi as Akira Todo
- Kaede Hondo as Haruka Todo
- Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook
- Megumi Han as Lala Zudenstein
- Rie Takahashi as Yoko Nishina

Kazuhiro Takamura is directing the anime at SMDE, and is also designing the characters. Gorō Kuji is the assistant director, Kanetake Ebikawa is the “engine designer,” and JNTHED is in charge of “ENIA design.” Takamura also oversees the series scripts alongside Masashi Suzuki. Masahito Onoda is the chief animation director, and Nobuaki Nobusawa is composing the music.

According to director Takamura, the Vertex Force anime has everything he likes, including cute girls and cool mecha. Lastly, the story of the anime, according to MyAnimeList is as follows:
Akira Toudou, a high schooler living in northern Okinawa, lives peacefully with his mother and his older sister, Haruka. However, behind their peaceful life lies a secret passed down through their family: Haruka has inherited a mysterious power from their father, known only as “Engine,” and she has lived her life hiding this power from others. Akira, however, inherited nothing. He harbors an inferiority complex due to his own weakness.
Then, strange events began to occur all over the world. What is the purpose of the unknown enemy closing in on Akira and his friends? Now, with the fate of the universe at stake, a brother who has nothing and a sister who has everything must find out what they can really do together.
