Netmarble has released a new update for RAVEN2, which adds a new region named Walthar, as well as a new mechanic called Skill Awakening. The update is available now on Android, iOS and PC via Epic Games Store.
Walthar is a new high-level region, designed for players at Level 85 and above. The first phase of Walthar is now open, and features nine hunting grounds across two areas: Beno Imperial Castle and Lichtendorf. The game will introduce the remaining areas of Walthar through future updates. The update also adds Skill Awakening, a new growth system that allows players to further enhance their skills. Players can attempt Skill Awakening on all unique skills they have, except for Heavenstone.
Once a skill reaches skill enhancement +3, players can use Skill Enhancement Stone and Skill Awakening Stone that match the skill grade in order to proceed with awakening. This allows players to gain various additional effects for existing unique skills based on six Skill Awakening effect grades. Two events are also available now, one of which, Bartram’s Special 7-Day Mission, tasks players with complete missions in order to receive Essence of the Sun as the final reward. The other, Bartram’s Special 14-day Check-In, simply requires players to log into the game during the event period to obtain various daily rewards, such as Rare Rune Selection Chest, Skill Awakening Stone Fragment, and more.
The global version of RAVEN2 is available in 150 countries and support 16 different languages, including English, Thai, German, French, Indonesian, and Malay, to name a few. More updates for the game will release at a later date.
