The staff of the TV anime adaptation of Wookjakga’s A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special (Kikansha no Mahō wa Tokubetsu Desu) Korean web comic announced that krage will perform the ending theme song “Everlasting” for A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2, which premieres in October 2026.
FLOW returns to perform the new opening theme song “Sorrow.”
The anime’s cast includes:
- Takuma Terashima as Desir Herman
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Romantica Eru
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Pram Schnaizer
- Asami Seto as Azrest Kingscrown
Taishi Kawaguchi directs the anime at Arvo Animation. Takamitsu Kouno returns to compose the series and write the scripts. Hiromi Katō is the character designer. Daisuke Negishi is the art director, and Kenta Higashiohji is the music composer.

Crunchyroll will stream A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2, as previously confirmed at New York Comic Con 2025. A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special first premiered on October 7, 2023 on Crunchyroll.
Arvo Animation produced the first season with Taichi Kawaguchi serving as director. Takamitsu Kono handled the series composition, and Hiromi Kato is the character designer. FLOW performed the opening theme song “GET BACK” for the first season, with Momosumomosu performing the ending theme song “6 no Naderu.”
