Square Enix has revealed a new chapter for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, titled “Cloud Disappears,” releasing on July 1. It serves as the 11th chapter of the Final Fantasy VII half of the story.
The new chapter adapts a major moment in the original Final Fantasy VII. It focuses primarily on Tifa, working to repair the mind of a comatose Cloud Strife as the threat of Sephiroth and Meteor draws nearer. Fans can expect to see this moment in the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, which launches in spring 2027. It will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. It will also launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store alongside other platforms.
Further, players with save data from Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will receive in-game bonuses. This includes Summoning Materia: Chocobo & Moogle and Summoning Materia: Phoenix. Check out the trailer showcasing Chapter 11: “Cloud Disappears” of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis below:
