ASMIK Ace just revealed the trailer, key visual, staff and cast details, and a 2027 premiere date for the upcoming anime adaptation of Monshō Sakakibara’s Majutsu o Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyō de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru light novel series. The studio also revealed the anime’s English title, The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend.
The cast members include Daiki Yamashita who stars as Liese and Hana Hishikawa as Minori. Yuki Inaba, known for his woprk on Parasyte -the maxim-, is directing the anime at Studio Palette, and is also in charge of series scripts.
Sakakibara first released the story on the Kakuyomu website in 2021. Starts Publishing released one volume of the novel with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka in 2022. In 2023, Kanco launched the manga adaptation on Starts Publishing’s Novema website. The manga’s first compiled book volume was shipped in March 2024, and the sixth volume will ship on June 26.
