Atelier series developer GUST has confirmed that the team is looking into frame rate and performance issues in the recently released Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. On X (formerly Twitter), GUST apologized for the issues that Nintendo Switch 2 players have faced thus far.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings improved resolution and frame rates, shorter loading times, local GameShare functionality, and the Atelier Yumia: Backpack Set, which includes an accessory set for changing the color of Yumia’s backpack and Flammi’s smoke.
Before launch, Final Weapon reviewed Atelier Yumia and gave it a 4 out of 5, stating that the game is “a great starting point if you’ve never played an Atelier game before. There’s this constant feeling of discovery as you go through each and every spot marked on the map. It does have some rough spots, but Gust is on the right path if their idea is to make future titles in this open world format.”
Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the second entry in the Atelier franchise’s “Memories” subseries, will launch in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
