Vanillaware and Marvelous have announced action RPG Muramasa: Revenant Blades, a remaster of Muramasa Rebirth that combines it with the Genroku Legends DLC for the first time. It will be coming to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and, for the first time ever, PC.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade was originally released for the Wii in 2009, with Muramasa: Rebirth releasing in 2013 for the Vita. Muramasa: Revenant Blades will support 4k resolution and feature new combat and weapon systems, alongside more modes and gameplay options. The game stars six protagonist, and you can play their stories in any order you want.
Physical pre-orders will also be available from Marvelous USA online store and participating retailers. The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions will be $49.99, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be $59.99 and have the entire game on cartridge. A Limited Edition will also be available retailing at $89.99 and $99.99. It has the game, a collectible art book, a limited CD featuring select tracks from the game, and a 10′ x 14″ byōbu folding screen with more art.
