KUNOS Simulazioni and 505 Games have released version 0.7 of Assetto Corsa EVO, available now on Steam Early Access. The update adds four new cards, new tools, and more.

Assetto Corsa EVO 0.7 introduces a milestone update of the Early Access cycle, featuring a brand-new particle system that brings smoke, dust, dirt, spray and impact effects into the driving experience, the first official release of the Assetto Corsa EVO – SDK dedicated Steam app, new multiplayer-oriented functionalities and a broad range of simulation focused, renderer, audio and gameplay refinements.
This is a release built to expand what players can do within the Assetto Corsa EVO ecosystem.
NEW PARTICLE SYSTEM
With release 0.7 thanks to the newly introduced particle system, tyre smoke now properly reacts to wheel spin, slides and drift work, dirt and gravel generate dynamic debris off-track, while wet conditions and collisions now deliver a more grounded and immersive visual response.
ASSETTO CORSA EVO SDK APP
Version 0.7 also marks the first official step toward community-driven content creation in Assetto Corsa EVO. Dedicated to experienced and technically skilled creators, the Dedicated to experienced and technically skilled creators, the SDK application allows users to produce custom vehicles using a production pipeline closely aligned with the same technologies used internally by the development team at KUNOS Simulazioni. This first release focuses on car creation and represents the beginning of a longer-term evolution toward a more open, expandable and long-living platform. The Assetto Corsa EVO SDK app is available to all Assetto Corsa EVO users.
DAILY RACING PORTAL SAFETY RATING
Alongside release 0.7, an all-new Safety Rating System (EVO SR) has been deployed on the official Daily Racing Portal – the official multiplayer companion website of Assetto Corsa EVO. This new system has been designed to reward close and respectful racing rather than simply avoiding contact in clean air, inviting players to become very good racers, and save them from boring and over-safe driving, away from the group.
