This morning, the official BLEACH animation account confirmed that the main PV for Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will release on Tuesday, May 19, at 20:00 JST. The final cour of Thousand-Year Blood War is set to premiere in the Summer 2026 season, which is scheduled to start in July.
While the runtime of the official new main PV has not yet been revealed, it’s likely to be around one to two minutes based on previous cour trailer releases. You can check out the official announcement below:
Last month, VIZ Media and Fathom Entertainment confirmed that they will bring the first three episodes of Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity to theaters across the United States. In a statement regarding the theater release, the company said the following: “Anime fans are in for a thrilling experience as Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War wraps up its groundbreaking run on the big screen,” said Ray Nutt, Chief Executive Officer at Fathom Entertainment. “Fathom has pioneered the theatrical experience for compelling, non-traditional content with built-in fanbases, and Bleach fans are in for a treat with the first three episodes and exclusive, behind the scenes content from our friends at VIZ Media beginning June 25.”
