In a rather sudden announcement, official Gundam social media channels have announced that the Gundam Conference Spring 2026 event will reveal the “future of Gundam” on May 15 at 6:00 p.m. JST / 2:00 a.m. PDT / 5:00 a.m. EDT. Bandai Namco Group plans to share some “huge surprises” that Gundam fans won’t want to miss out on. Like previous showcases, fans can tune into Gundam Conference Spring 2026 on the official Gundam Channel on YouTube.
Fans can also celebrate by checking out Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe in theaters on May 15. The film will be screening with English subtitles (Japanese voice-overs) and an English dub. Participating theaters will offer fans 1 of 3 exclusive collective cards while supplies last. The cards highlight the designs of the Xi Gundam and the RX-104FF Penelope.
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe opened on January 30 across 365 theaters in Japan. The film grossed approximately 2.63 billion yen ($16.3 million) at the Japan box office.
R&B and hip-hop singer-songwriter SZA performs the opening theme song “Snooze.” The ending theme song is “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses SennaRin performs the insert song “ENDROLL” with Yōhei Kawakami of Alexandros.
Shukou Murase is the director of the film, which was produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks’ Sunrise Animation Studios. Yuichi Kuboki joins Takako Suzuki as color key artists. Yoshinori Sayama is credited for display designs, Yoshihisa Ōyama is the new compositing director of photography, and Manabu Kamitōno directs the visual effects.
