Director Naoki Hamaguchi has beaten Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 40 times already, according to a new interview with Nintendo Life. Not only does this mean that Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 is heading toward the end of its development, but this is a great sign that an official announcement of the third game’s title is likely around the corner.
“We’re very excited about how the game is currently progressing,” Hamaguchi told Nintendo Life. “I have already completed over 40 full playthroughs! I can’t wait for as many people as possible to experience the game for themselves, and myself and the team are working hard to ensure we can create an unforgettable gameplay experience.”
Before Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 arrives, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will head to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S on June 3. A free demo for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available in the Nintendo eShop and Microsoft Store. The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo contains Chapters 1 and 2, the Streamlined Progression system, and save data transfers to the full game.
