Crunchyroll has revealed its month-long Ani-May global celebration of anime, beginning with the streaming debut of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc on April 30. The Crunchyroll Ani-May celebration also includes a reward in Forza Horizon 6, launching on May 19. There’s also a special Ani-May Instagram livestream, where host Tim Lyu and guest actor Adam McArthur (JUJUTSU KAISEN) give fans a preview of what’s to come.

On May 1, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tears of the Azure Sea will come to theaters throughout the U.S. REI AMI, Big Sean, Noah Lyles, and more will be ambassadors for the Ani-May celebration, so fans can expect cosplay, curated Spotify playlists, and behind-the-scenes anime moments throughout the month.

What’s more, there will be weekly global YouTube watch parties to Crunchyroll’s first-ever 7-day anime marathon on Twitch in the #special-events category, along with the Crunchyroll Anime Awards on TikTok featuring The Weeknd, Winston Duke, RZA, and more, creator streams, and fan-driven content.

To get fans directly connected with a massive catalog of anime, Crunchyroll will bring a limited-time offer on discounted Fan & Mega Fan membership, which includes the Crunchyroll Game Vault. New and returning subscribers can get deals on exclusive merch and collectibles in the Crunchyroll Store, along with a gift with purchase featuring Crunchyroll’s Hime herself.

Crunchyroll subscribers will also get an exclusive in-game reward in Forza Horizon 6. During Ani-May, all current members will receive a Car Voucher allowing them to exchange it for any car available at the Autoshow. This gives fans a head start in the game for supporting Crunchyroll.

There are many more celebrations happening around the world for Ani-May, and fans can visit the Ani-May Central website to see what’s unfolding in your region.
