Smilegate and Super Creative has released its major “ARISE” update for Chaos Zero Nightmare with a slew of new content additions. In addition, Smilegate will be bringing Chaos Zero Nightmare and Miresi: The Invisible Future to Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles this July.

The Chaos Zero Nightmare ARISE update introduces Sortie Mode, which removes save data to introduce higher risks and bigger payoffs with the game’s roguelike deck-building system. This new update also introduces some gameplay changes to reduce repetition and improve long-time engagement, including a Battle Skip Mode for Chaos content, reduced Chaos-mode fatigue, and major improvements to reward pacing. The seasonal restrictions on The Great Rift Save Data Mitigation were also removed.

Season 3 – “A Song Rippling Through the Stars” is also live with a new narrative arc set on the SS Edenity. The new season also brings new Chaos content, Divine Epiphany cards, and the fully-fledged “Persona Cards” system. Seasonal Combatant Heidemarie also joins the roster with a unique “Link” combat mechanic that synchronizes and chains card effects. Rounding out the update is the tower-climbing mode Spiral Tower of Screams and various Half-Anniversary rewards, including a 5-star Combatant/Partner Selection Ticket and up to 70 free Rescues.

At Anime Expo, Smilegate will be showcasing Chaos Zero Nightmare and Miresi: The Invisible Future with interactive events, giveaways, and cosplay activities. Miresi: The Invisible Future will also have a playable demo zone where attendees can experience the game for the first time.

Lastly, Chaos Zero Nightmare is available now for Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via STOVE.
