Infini Fun and Cyclos have announced Karma Exorcist, a new Eastern mythology-themed Metroidvania action game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A release date was not announced, but a limited-time playtest for Karma Exorcist is available now on Steam.

Karma Exorcist is an Eastern mythology-themed side-scrolling Metroidvania action-adventure game.
Inspired by Chinese mythology, this game presents a fresh interpretation of the underworld: good and evil karma function like an invisible magnetic field, influencing the balance of the Three Realms. When evil karma spreads, disasters follow. To counter this, gods and buddhas gradually established the underworld—with Meng Po Soup (Potion of Oblivion) to erase memories, the Eighteen Levels of Hell to punish guilty souls, and more—all to maintain the cycle of existence. Here, you will explore a world of the dead that feels both familiar and strange.
