Digital Extremes has revealed the next major story quest for Warframe, Jade Shadows: Constellations. Ahead of the release of Jade Shadows: Constellations in June, Digital Extremes has teamed up with progressive metalcore band ERRA and BAFTA-nominated animation arthouse THE LINE to release new anime-inspired short highlighting the new narrative chapter. The short was directed by Louve Sarfati Karnas and Warframe creative director Rebecca Ford, and it features the song “Crawl Backwards Out of Heaven” by ERRA
Jade Shadows: Constellations will continue the tales of Stalker and his newfound child, Sirius or Orion, depending on the player’s choices during the original Jade Shadows Quest. There will be new Railjack missions in a new region of space, Uranus Proxima, with post-Quest story beats. More details about this content will be revealed during the May Warframe Devstream.
There will also be new Protoframes from opposing timelines, including Ryoku, the Protoframe for Ash, and Vena, the Protoframe for Garuda. Players can complete Jade Shadows: Constellations and unlock either partnered Protoframe as a contract Railjack crew member viable for any ship role.
Further, players can venture toward Uranus for the return of Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast with new gear from May 4 to June 1 in the lead up to Jade Shadows: Constellations. Nidus will get a fresh ability refresh, and a new deluxe skin for Dante will be available.
Warframe is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
