FuRyu has officially announced CRYMELIGHT, a new roguelike action game spin-off where characters grow stronger when they make confessions. Inspired by FuRyu’s own CRYMACHINA and CRYSTAR RPGs, CRYMELIGHT launches on November 5 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, and the game’s official website is now live, alongside CRYMELIGHT’s official Discord server, X (formerly Twitter) account, and store pages.

The successor to CRYSTAR, CRYMACHINA, released July 27, 2023 in Japan for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. CRYMACHINA released in the west October 27, 2023 with a PC version. A free CRYMACHINA demo may be downloaded right now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Save data from the demo transfers into the full game.

Final Weapon reviewed CRYMACHINA and gave it a 4/5 score, noting that the game is “an intriguing action RPG with mechanical girls that attempt to become human again in a very distant future. Although such a future is bleak, these androids make CRYMACHINA feel wholesome and hopeful.”

CRYSTAR is currently available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam as well. The PlayStation 5 version includes over 30 previously released DLC costumes in one package.

Final Weapon is a media partner of INDIE Live Expo 2026.
