During Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, Bandai Namco announced that Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000 is in fact Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, the long-awaited entry in the successful online action game series by developer Dimps. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2027, and store pages for the new game will open soon.
As previously announced, the new game will feature all-new original characters, along with those created and depicted by manga authors Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou. Toriyama was involved in the game’s development for six to seven years before his passing.
Fans can also look forward to Dragon Ball Super The Galactic Patrol, which will cover the events of the manga’s “Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc”. In this arc, Goku and Vegeta work together with the members of the Galactic Patrol, the peacekeepers of the galaxy, to battle against a new enemy, “Planet-Eater” Moro.
In addition, Toei Animation will release Dragon Ball Super Beerus, an enhanced version of the first arc of the Dragon Ball Super anime with improved animation and sound, redrawn cuts, and a “reconstructed narrative.” Dragon Ball Super Beerus will premiere in fall 2026 on Fuji TV.
